Selon une récente enquête internationale (sondage d'opinion BVA-Gallup 2011), les francais sont l'un des peuples les plus pessimistes au monde. La France perd-elle le Nord ou broie-t-elle du noir ? Cette mauvaise humeur nationale est-elle passagère, seulement liée à la crise ou bien révèle-t-elle une réalité plus profonde ? Pascal Perrineau, politologue et directeur du CEVIPOF nous parle sans tabou ni bien-pensance de l'inconscient politique-collectif français.

"For whenever there are two universalisms, there is always one too many."

According to a recent international survey (opinion poll BVA-Gallup 2011), the French are one of the most pessimistic nations in the world. Is France lost or down in the dumps? Is this national bad mood temporary, only due to the crisis, or does it reveal a deeper reality? The political scientist Pascal Perrineau, director of CEVIPOF (Centre for Political Research at Sciences Po) talks with neither taboos nor political correctness about the French collective unconscious.

Créée et présentée en première au Théâtre National de Bruxelles, Brigitte est une installation audio-vidéo de Jean-Benoît Ugeux et Wolfgang Natlacen. Brigitte est aussi une histoire belge wallonne où l'aspect insidieusement comique laisse place à un malaise diffus et où l'inquiétude se transforme en un sentiment de crainte et d'épouvante.

Created and presented for the first time at the Théâtre National de Bruxelles, Brigitte is an audio and video installation by Jean-Benoît Ugeux and Wolfgang Natlacen. Brigitte is also a Belgian-Walloon story whose insidiously comical aspects are progressively replaced by an overall feeling of uneasiness and disquiet which soon turns into a sense of fear and dread.
