Andy & Donald

Andy & Donald vus par Alessandro Mercuri & Haijun Park,

Andy Warhol lui en tiendra rigueur (d’une manière toute warholienne) : “And I just hate the Trumps because they never bought my Trump Tower portraits. And I also hate them because the cabs on the upper level of their ugly Hyatt Hotel just back up traffic so badly around Grand Central now and it takes me so long to get home.”

La liste s'ouvre par son ars poetica, The Art of the Deal (1987), suivi de :  Surviving at the Top (1990), The Art of Survival (1991), The Art of the Comeback (1997), How to Get Rich (2004), The Way to the Top (2004), Think Like a Billionaire (2004), The Best Golf Advice I Ever Received (2005), How to Build a Fortune (2006), Why We Want You to be Rich (2006), Think Big and Kick Ass in Business and Life (2007), Think Like a Champion (2009).

Like a Billionaire” sous-titré “Everything You Need to Know About Success, Real Estate, and Life”. Andy Warhol : “Being good in business is the most fascinating kind of art… Making money is art and working is art and good business is the best art.” Le propos est issu de “The Philosophy of Andy Warhol (From A to B & Back Again)” paru en 1975.

Au propos d’Andy Warhol “Art is what you can get away with.” The whole age of the computer has made it where nobody knows exactly what’s going on.

Ainsi à trente-six ans d’écart, le raccourci prend forme : “Art is what you can get away with and the whole age of the computer has made it where nobody knows exactly what’s going on.”
